Ricoh has announced its SP 8300DN laser printer, which is ideal for college campuses, libraries and a host of other institutions.
The system offers new ways to establish, control and monitor print-for-pay operations, such as sharges, secure access, job configuration and other tasks, while its high-capacity allows it to handle large volumes of documents.
As well as this, the machine features a 4.3 inch touch screen colour LCD control panel and a built in MFP web browser.
The SP 8300DN is developed on Ricoh's MFP technology platform, which is engineered to link easily with the web and cloud services, enabling mobility and security for optimal information input and processing.
News of this machine comes after Ricoh introduced its ChaMPS program, enabling solution providers to sell the company's services to end user clients.
Channel Nomics reported that the move will expand services, allowing solution providers to offer a higher number of goods to customers.

Ink company Ricoh has confirmed that it will appear at Ipex 2014 to showcase its technology.
The event will move from the Birmingham NEC to the Excel in London, where a variety of ink cartridges specialists will exhibit new goods and services to the industry.
Peter Williams, executive vice president of the production printing business group at Ricoh Europe, said that the event will demonstrate the evolving nature of the sector.
Ricoh was also recently positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant: Managed Print Services Worldwide group by Gartner, after the company's Managed Document Services were found to deliver a unique solution for individual consumers while taking into account their unique needs.
"The recent announcements on new initiatives by Ipex to reflect the role of print in the marketing mix align with Ricoh's own focus to provide print service providers with the products and services that they need to expand beyond print," Mr Williams said.

Ricoh's Aficio SP C242SF model has been praised in a recent review.
Marine Goy, writing for DigitalVersus, awarded the model four stars out of five and hailed its design, which enables easy access to its four ink cartridges.
The Ricoh Aficio SP C242SF paper tray was also commended, as it carries a capacity of 250 sheets, while the option of introducing a second 500-sheet tray is available.
"There's something rare about this printer: the print speeds are the same in colour, B&W and draft mode.
"They're similar to the HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color MFP M475dn (22 pages per minute), and faster than the Xerox Workcentre 6015 NI."
Although Ricoh's model has come in for critical acclaim, the manufacturer will be wary of competitors in the market, including Brother, which has seen its HL-5470DW model receive three out of five stars from ExpertReviews.co.uk.
The website's writer Simon Handby said that the hardware is "much faster" than other entry-level mono laser printer.

Ricoh has collected the best mega stand honour at the 2012 Africa Print show.
The ink cartridges supplier has hailed the event as a success, with Graphic Repo reporting that the company also signed a deal for a wide-format printer.
However, Ricoh gained fewer leads from the 5,800 visitors at the event this year, picking up 277 compared to last year's total of 400.
Dierdre Fernandes, events, PR, CSR and sponsorship co-ordinator at Ricoh SA, said: "Africa Print is seldom a platform for signing deals but is a valuable exercise in gaining face time with potential and existing customers where we can showcase the full depth of our solutions and gain a more intimate understanding of their requirements."
Ricoh's success at Africa Print follows its announcement of several new multifunction products. Azom.com reported that the company has launched the Ricoh MP 6002/ MP 7502/ MP 9002 series of products, offering printing, scanning, copying and distribution capabilities.

Ink cartridges specialist Ricoh has named Rochester Software Associates (RSA) as a premier partner.
RSA was given the accreditation because of its consistent performance with regard to meeting Ricoh's stringent, quality and customer service levels, reports WhatTheyThink.com.
Tim Vellek, vice president of the production printing business group at Ricoh Americas Corporation, said: "We selected RSA based on market expertise, best-in-class solutions and an emphasis on exceptional and personal customer service.
"By working with a premier partner like RSA, we can offer fully integrated solutions that will deliver measurable results for our customers."
Tim Kelly, senior vice president of RSA, also noted that the Premier Partner status will allow the two companies to expand their long-standing relationship.
News of the new accreditation follows the announcement that Ricoh will appear at this year's EcoPrint Live exhibition in Berlin on September 26th and 27th.
The event will be used as a way of showcasing its Sustainability Optimisation and Carbon Balanced Printing initiatives.

Ink manufacturer Ricoh is exhibiting its latest products to the Russian market in the DISTREE Russia and CIS event.
Its GelJets printer range is just one of the new innovations that will be showcased at the occasion, which will reach potential partners throughout the region, reports Channel EMEA.
Speaking to the news provider, Evgenya Ansimova, IT channel development manager at Ricoh Russia, said: "First of all we would like to meet our potential partners, to understand their needs. We are currently in the process of developing a partner support programme."
Ms Ansimova noted that there will be a number of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings taking place at the event, which she hopes will give the company feedback on its partner programme.
Last month, Ricoh appeared at Drupa 2012, where its representatives spoke to thousands of experts in the printing industry, who learnt how the company is developing hardware and software solutions while attempting to remain as green as possible.

Ricoh has unveiled a new class of multifunction products that boast new ink technology.
It has announced its Aficio MP C305 Series and its Ricoh Aficio MP 301 SPF monochrome MFP, which are both capable of delivering 31 pages per minute.
The devices can also copy, scan and fax documents, allowing companies and consumers to carry out a number of tasks via one device.
Mike Dane, vice president of marketing at Ricoh Americas, said: "The intelligence of this new MFP platform, as well as the sheer breadth of our expanded A4 product line, gives our customers a distinct advantage over what our competition offers them."
Mr Dane went on to say that the business offers the most powerful solution for money as well as a wide range of choices for consumers.
Ricoh's announcement of these products comes after the manufacturer enjoyed success at Drupa 2012, where visitor numbers exceeded expectations.

Office printer specialist Ricoh attracted the attention of many industry specialists at Drupa 2012, with visitor numbers increasing beyond expectations.
Thousands of experts spoke to the company's representatives in order to gain an insight into its hardware and software solutions, as well as how it is attempting to be as green as possible.
Peter Williams, executive vice president, head of production printing business group, Ricoh Europe, said: "We will remember Drupa 2012 as one that truly considered the future of the printing industry."
Mr Williams noted that the event saw more specialists looking at how they can increase their services and value for their clients, while bringing digital and online channels closer together.
All of the waste from the Drupa 2012 was recycled by UPM and Remondis.
The two organisations worked together to store printed and unprinted paper in containers, before transporting it to Remondis' Bailing facility, where it was taken to the UPM Hurth mill to be used in the business' paper production processes.

Ink firm Ricoh has gained an accreditation from the International Association of the Deinking Industry (INGEDE).
The firm picked up the certification after it proved that toner from its digital colour printing press portfolio can be removed from paper during the recycling process.
As well as this, the ink specialist has announced that its printing activity at drupa 2012 will be carbon neutral due to the use of the Ricoh Carbon Balanced Printing Programme.
Graham Moore, business development director for Ricoh Europe's production printing business group, said: "Ricoh is at the forefront of providing the tools, services and certified products that make an environmentally responsible printing business easier to achieve than ever before."
His remarks come after the Office Depot Small Business Index found that 72 per cent of small businesses are looking to lower their carbon footprint by decreasing waste, whereas 61 per cent are planning to buy energy efficient products.
