The Parker Duofold Lucky 8 Fountain Pen was inspired by the auspicious confluence of several important elements in Parker's 120th anniversary.  In particular, the number '8' has special symbolic significance.  It features prominently in the year of the company's founding, 1888.

The Parker Duofold Lucky 8 Fountain Pen is solidly constructed of precision-machined cast acrylic with 23k gold trim.  The 8 sided barrel is reminiscent of the faceted design of the original Parker fountain pen, black with smoke grey ripples that are unique to each individual pen.  It is tipped with an exquisite 18k gold nib featuring an arrow design and original 1920's Parker logo.  Laser engraved on the button is a unique serial number confirming its place in this limited edition.  The cap sports a single boldly engraved band that evokes 1930's aesthetics, instead of the usual reminiscent of the original Parker Duofold.  The clip retains its emblematic Parker arrow design, and on its crown, the decal graphic brings out the heritage of this magnificent writing instrument.
