Lexmark X1180- cheap to buy and easy to understand for a novice- but cartridges are expensive compared to other makes- have had it 4 years with no problems.
Comments on the Lexmark X1180 3 in 1 printer:- Lexmark encourage the unenlightened to buy one of their printers as they are well priced, however, they make up for that with the cost of the replacement cartridges. I do not have any experience as to whether they are as long lasting as other makes but it is very difficult to get "look alikes"!! I have just put in an order to you for a Lexmark 16 and 26 and your prices are as good as I have found to date. Regards, Fiona Wright.
The facilities on the 1180 is very good. I bought this printer second hand BUT the cartridges are VERY expensive, WHY ?. I can buy a complete set for my Epson for £4
Cheap (came as a package) . Reliable. Reasonably economical with ink.. Frustrating problem- Needs a fair amount of paper in feed chute and doesn't like thin paper
