Xerox Launches Its DocuColour 8080 Printer Ink Device

Companies looking for a productive printer ink device could like Xerox's latest addition to its DocuColour range.

The firm's new DocuColour 8080 device can print documents at a rate of 80 pages per minute and is ideal for creating direct mail, booklets and marketing material, the company claims.

Xerox added that it has installed its Automated Colour Quality Suite into its new system, which is designed to improve production tasks and minimise user involvement.

Eric Armour, president in the graphic communications business group at Xerox, said: "Our focus is to help customers produce more jobs, reduce costs and grow their business. The DocuColour 8080 was built with this in mind."

Recently, Essex-based printers William Pollard & Co installed a Xerox iGen4 Press and Xerox FreeFlow system to speed up the document production process and cut manufacturing costs.

Dennis Mason, deputy managing director at the firm, noted that the new printer ink device will save the business over £50,000 per annum.
