Use a Sharpie Pen to Give Halloween Costumes the Edge

The humble Sharpie pen could be the tool that gives your spooky costumes the killer edge this Halloween.

According to Tricia Romano, writing for freep.com, you don't have to worry about forking out a lot of money for costumes for your children this October 31st. In fact, by using your own clothes and a few tools, ghastly designs are easy to make.

You can use a Sharpie pen, for example, to create a ghost outfit, the blog suggests. Just take a white sheet, cut out some holes so your child can see through the eyes and poke out their tongue, and outline it with a Sharpie pen to give it that "extra oomph".

And if you're having a Halloween party, you could use some coloured printer ink to add some spice to your invitations. Daub the invites in green, black and red ink – your guests won't know what's hit them!
