Samsung Reveals New CLP 365 And CLX 8650 Printers

Samsung has revealed a number of new printers in a Milan launch event.

The company has specified businesses as its next target audience, with the Samsung CLP-365 model among the new devices unveiled by the firm, reports IT Pro Portal.

This printer offers a compact printing solution to companies, while the Samsung CLX-8650 produces 48ppm, which means it is the fastest A4 colour printer on offer across the globe at the moment.

Seung Hyun, vice-president of Samsung's printing division, said: "Our printers are going to keep on improving, there's no doubt about that. In five years' time we're going to be number one in printing. It's going to be a tough job, particularly in B2B, but it can happen."

Recently, Samsung announced a new partnership with Kodak in a bid to improve printer sales in Europe.

It will sell its all-in-one inkjet models that feature Kodak's proprietary ink technology.

Mark Kurz, consumer group vice president at Kodak, described the agreement as a collaboration between "two great brands".
