Quality Ink Images For Alpha Media From Heidelberg Printing Press

Alpha Media Solutions, the Bradford-based printer, has invested £200,000 on the latest offset lithographic colour management system that provides high-quality ink finishes.

The Prinect Inpress from Heidelberg allows consumers the control to automatically change and integrate colours into the press at any speed, with productivity or ink quality being affected.

Simon Rose, sales and marketing director at Alpha Media Solutions, said: "As a company, we are continually looking at ways that we can add value and improve our service to suit our clients' needs for both colour management and quality control."

He added by investing in the Inpress it means that the principles to provide the best ink finish can be upheld to the highest level as well as making the process more cost effective.

Furthermore, Heidelberg guarantee that there is reliable colour throughout the workflow printing process.

Recently, Hampton Printing, the South Wales company, became the first UK firm to achieve ISO 12647-2 colour control certification via Heidelberg's accreditation scheme.
