Ink Cartridges: Best Home Printers Revealed

There are many things to consider when choosing a new home printer, such as price, the type of ink cartridges used and quality of prints, which can be confusing. PC World has advised consumers that when opting for an inkjet printer for the home they should look for a good all-rounder that will do a great job on text, photos and scanning.

"A multifunction inkjet printer would be best suited to these tasks," the news provider suggested. It recommended several machines, such as the Canon Pixma MP270, which it said is low-priced and offers a good printing speed as well as simple USB set-up.

The HP Photosmart B109a was also highlighted as a more expensive and better quality printer. According to the news provider, it is great for everyday printing needs but not spectacular for producing photos.

Before settling on a printer take note of the cost of new ink cartridges and how long each one is likely to last.
