Canon And HP To Produce Innovative Printer Ink Solutions

Imaging technology giants Canon and Hewlett Packard (HP) are to team up to produce a new range of printer ink office solutions.

The firms believe the move will give companies access to one of the most complete offerings in the industry, enabling them to deliver improved efficiencies and greater cost savings.

David Murphy, senior vice-president of the imaging and printing group at HP, said: "In growing our relationship with Canon to offer customers value-added and more holistic IT solutions, we are confident organisations will enhance productivity with their imaging and printing."

The alliance will enable the companies to expand their current and future product portfolios in the US and Europe, helping customers in these regions reliably improve their printing solutions.

Last week, HP announced the launch of a new Touchsmart printing device that can be used with the iPhone in a move it claims will help transform the printer into a fun and creative platform that the whole family can enjoy.
