Website Names Top Printers Of 2009

A printer comparison website has named the top ten units of 2009.

The HP Photosmart Plus was found to be the best model of the last year, with multiple functions available to the user along with built in Wi-Fi and a TouchSmart panel.

Canon's Pixma MP560 was named second place, with the compact and wireless printer being celebrated for its ability to print quickly and efficiently from USB flashdrives, as well as for its five-colour tank system.

HP had three other units in the list, while two Canon models were also hailed as the top buys of the year.

Brother, Epson and Samsung were given a position each, with the Epson Artisan 810 named third in the list for its 7.8 inch touch panel and its ability to print in as little as ten seconds.

Other models in the list from printercomparison.com included the HP OfficeJet 6500, the Samsung CLX-3175 and the Brother MFC-9120CN, which was the first model from the company to make the site's top ten list.
