Stylus Photo PX650 Offers Lab Quality Ink Dispersal Epson Says

The Epson Stylus Photo PX650 allows users to produce high-definition, photo-realistic prints thanks to its use of dye-based Epson Claria Photographic ink.

According to the manufacturer, its latest printer - which was launched on July 26th - was specifically designed with digital photography lovers in mind.

Paolo Marenghi, product manager for Epson, claimed that the PX650 is capable of producing high-quality images with rapid print speeds, providing "excellent value for money".

He said: "Epson has introduced this new photo printer for those who have a passion for digital photography and want to be involved in the creative process of producing stunning photographs."

Users can scan, copy and print photos with vibrant gradations and subtleties that tests on the Epson printer ink have shown will last for over 200 years.

The photographic ink also boasts a wide gamut of colours and comes in individual ink cartridges, meaning that users need only replace those which have run out.

Earlier this month, Epson opened a new open-air exhibition in Germany of famous athletics photographs taken over the past 125 years.
