Recycled Ink Cartridges Can Be Used Say Experts

Printer owners interested in saving money on ink have been advised to use recycled ink cartridges.

John C Arkin posted a blog entry on the issue on printerinkcartridgesblog.printcountry.com, where he made suggestions on how printer users can best operate recycled cartridges.

He pointed out previously-used ink cartridges are "definitely" cheaper than newer products and are compatible with most manufacturers.

"If you have refilled your cartridges then it's important to keep them topped up. What this does is that it helps in the prevention of air bubbles as well as prevents the blocking of printer heads," Mr Arkin explained.

He added: "If your printer is not being used everyday, the chances are that the printer head might be clogged due to dirt etc, which in turn leads to the printer not recognising the cartridges. It's important to use the printer regularly as this also helps clean it."

The ink expert concluded by saying that overfilling the cartridges should be avoided, as this can lead to a contamination of the print head.

Recycle your old ink cartridges with cash for cartridges and make money.
