Lexon Technologies Buys Major Inkjet Seller

Lexon Technologies has announced that it is to buy online retailer 7inkjet.com, which sells recycled inkjet and toner cartridges.

The company will acquire the website, along with 7inkjet.com's customer database, which is made up of 12,000 registered consumers.

James Park, chief executive of Lexon Technologies, said that his company was well equipped for the move as it has "an existing, established [and] successful internet business in place" along with a "substantial marketing budget".

He added: "This is a large expansion [for] our inkjet business. We will gauge this business in detail and if positive, it may lead to our company either directly manufacturing inkjet cartridges or making a large acquisition of an inkjet manufacturer."

Mr Park said that the move was only "one small part of our ongoing strategy to grow our internet presence".

Lexon was originally a manufacturer of recycled toner for laser printers, fax machines and other multi-function copiers primarily dealing with larger retailers.
