HP Photosmart C4480 Produces Good Quality Prints

The HP Photosmart C4480 prints good quality copies at an affordable price, a reviewer has claimed.

Writing for Computer Active, Simon Williams said that the device, priced at £48, provides consumers value for money as it is the cheapest printer to have a colour display offered by HP.

The ink cartridges plug in behind the device's front cover, which is capable of producing 8.9 pages per minute in colour and 5.3 in black.

Mr Williams said: "The key test of any device like this is the quality of the prints it produces. There's nothing wrong with the Photosmart C4480 on that front, as it came out with good, clean black text and bright colour graphics, although they were a little pale.

"Reproduction of black text over colour was near-perfect and colour photocopies were again a bit pale but acceptable for this price."

He added that the only downsize to the device was a lack of cover for the paper tray.
