Pitney Bowes Forms New Partnership With Business Imaging Systems

Business Imaging Solutions has agreed an integration partnership with Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS).

The deal will merge PBMS' position in the document and mail management industry with Business Imaging Systems' prowess in the EMC software and solutions market.

It is hoped that the move will lead to more efficient outsourced document processing services.

Dan Rotelli, president of Business Imaging Systems, said: "We are very excited about the opportunity to leverage our expertise with EMC products to assist PBMS in helping clients optimise their document processing by enhancing their data capture processes."

Mr Rotelli went on to say that he is confident Pitney Bowes will deliver innovative and results-orientated solutions.

Pitney Bowes was commended earlier this month for its sustainability efforts, with the company winning the 2012 Environmental Champion Award from the Aquarion Water Company.

It won the accolade after remanufacturing ink equipment in order to protect Connecticut's natural resources.
