A leading IT information site has offered users of Lexmark and Dell printers advice on downloading the correct drivers to use their models on Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 7.
Several updates have appeared from the IT company to combat original problems found in the compatibility between its software and several printers.
Following this users are now able to download many Lexmark and Dell compatibility drivers from the Windows 7 website, according to myofficeportal.org
The site advised: "Downloading the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor is simply easy. Just like recent applications from other computer software manufacturers, you simply have to install it on your PC.
"Once downloading is finished, you may launch it on your desktop. From there, it will begin assessing your machine’s compatibilities with Windows 7."
Microsoft has now made achieving compatibility with the operating system simpler for several printer models, allowing users to continue to use their favourite printers with the latest software.
