Kyocera Launches Programme To Improve Toner Cartridge Recycling

Electronics, printer and toner cartridge manufacturer Kyocera Mita UK Ltd has launched its Green Partner Programme to promote sustainability through its distribution, reseller and service dealers.

The programme has been designed to accommodate different organisations that are at various levels of environmental performance, enabling firms with advanced green policies to fast-track their accreditation and support those who are developing energy-efficient methods.

Tracey Rawling Church, director of brand and reputation at Kyocera Mita UK Ltd, said: "The Green Partner Programme will formalise the achievements of our partners in the field of sustainability, giving customers increased confidence in the claims being made."

She added that it was an important element to the company's commitment to greening its entire supply chain.

The printer supplier said that to achieve Green Partner status, firms need to demonstrate that they have policies in place covering sustainability, sourcing and recycling of Kyocera's toner cartridges return service.

Recently, Kyocera Mita launched four new mid-speed ECOSYS MFP printers providing environmentally-friendly services for businesses.
