Kodak Printer Given The Thumbs Up Despite Ink Cartridges Issues

The Kodak Hero 9.1 All-in-One has been given a good 'going over;' by Cnet, receiving an impressive three-and-a-half stars from the reviewer.

When it comes to positives, the review described the printer as being "a strong printer for home users" thanks to its low cost per printed page, its dual paper feed trays, functional touch screen and also very capable print speeds.

The only downsides that Cnet managed to discover was that the tricolour ink tank will cost a great deal more in refills over time than single colour ink cartridges.

Similarly, the 50-sheet paper output tray could prove a touch too small for home offices who may have high-volume print needs.

An excerpt from the review reads: "The Hero 9.1 is a suitable choice for shoppers who need a capable multifunction imaging device with acceptable performance, apps that bring workflow into the cloud, and dual paper feed trays."

The printer currently retails for around £157 ($250).
