Kodak Launches Its SPOTLESS Flexographic Printer Ink Solution

A new printer ink system from Kodak could help those in the flexographic trade service improve their product packaging.

The firm's SPOTLESS Flexographic Solution is aimed at providing high-quality appearance packages, cut costs and increase production efficiency while reducing colour spot usage, it has been claimed.

According to Kodak, this latest initiative is an ideal companion for the award-winning FLEXCEL NX System to provide greater printing stability.

Emma Schlotthauer, packaging marketing manager in prepress solutions at Kodak, said: "Users enjoy the production benefits of replacing more spot colours with four-colour process printing than previously possible with flexography

"In fact, in many cases customers are considering the new solution a viable alternative to the complex practice of extended colour gamut printing with more than four process colours," she added. 

Recently, Kodak released its DESIGN2LAUNCH Brand Manager, created to provide users with a centralised digital workflow for their printer ink services in the future.
