Successful Pupils Have Extra Printer Ink Cartridges'

Those pupils likely to do well at school will have a functioning printer and an extra printer ink cartridge to hand in case of emergency, a blog has suggested.

Writing for wickedlocal.com, Peter Manoogian discussed common features of successful students, drawing on his 35 years of experience.

And one of them is to ensure pupils have a printer in good working order and extra printer ink stocked up – just in case. This is because making out that you couldn't complete your work because you ran out of printer ink, or because your printer broke down, just will not wash in schools and universities anymore.

"Make sure your printer is functioning and that you have an extra ink cartridge. Teachers have heard the “technology tales of woe” all too often," he wrote.

Mr Manoogian's other tips include undertaking detailed and studious reading, being thoroughly organised – both in terms of notebooks and papers and personal routine – always attending school, and communicating productively with teachers.
