Research Shows Modern Printers Deemed Too Complex

Modern printers have been described as too complicated by many consumers, a study has determined.

Customers believe that they are overly complex, meaning that they often do not use all of their capabilities, according to research by Dynamic Workflow Solutions, which has been reported by ITProPortal.

The study discovered that 20 per cent only use their home printer to produce black and white copies of documents, while only two per cent print via email and just five per cent utilise their mobiles or tablets to send articles for printing.

It was also found that five per cent of people send faxes through their printer, though all of these individuals were in the over-55s age group.

Recently, Dell announced its Print Solutions Webinar Series to assist people who required help with printing.

Author and consultant James Gaskin was among those who took part in the initiative, as he aimed to help people control the costs of their ink cartridges.
