Xerox's new WorkCentre 3550 launched

Printer ink cartridges maker Xerox has launched its new WorkCentre 3550.

A multifunction printer, the 3550 offers sophisticated high-speed copy, print and fax capabilities.

With a printing speed of up to 33 pages per minute and advanced image quality with a paper capacity of 550 sheets – this can be expanded to 1,050 sheets.

The WorkCentre 3550 offers excellent modern network options, ranging from colour scanning to email via Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and remote management via CentreWare Internet Services.

Malcolm Glynn, marketing manager at Xerox UK, praised the launch.

"The WorkCentre 3550 offers all the essential features required in today’s busy office environment combined with robust performance and advanced scanning features," he said.

The 3550 is available in three versions: the WorkCentre 3550X, the WorkCentre 3550XT and the WorkCentre 3550XTS.

According to the Wall Street Journal, earlier this month Xeroxsaid their second quarter profit had risen by an impressive 62 per cent.
