Canon A Leading Managed Print Services Provider

Ink cartridge manufacturer Canon has been placed in the 2011 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Print Services.

The ink cartridges firm was named as an industry leader based upon the strength of its managed print services program.

Canon delivers custom document management solutions incorporating the design, technology and support needs of customers around the world.

Placement in the Leader Quadrant reflects the firm's 'ability to execute' and 'completeness of vision' within the global managed print services space.

Junichi Yoshitake, senior vice-president and general manager of the Canon Imaging Systems Group, said the firm was "honoured" to be named as a printing industry leader by Gartner.

"Canon's managed print services offering leverages our robust hardware and solutions portfolio to deliver a comprehensive output management solution," he stated.

With enterprises and government customers seeking to maximise efficiencies and focus on their core areas of expertise, this can be a major asset, Mr Yoshitake added.
