Printer Firm Brother Promotes Safer Working For Electricians
Printer firm Brother has promoted safer working habits for electricians, with three professionals winning an electrical tester.
The device, which is worth £1,200, will allow them to test electric installations faster and with greater ease.
Furthermore, the professionals have become the last three entrants to win the Megger multifunction device, after Brother launched the scheme to improve safety awareness for electricians.
Mike Kelly, head of identification for Brother, said: "We’re committed to helping all our customers, including professional electricians, work efficiently and safely.
"The Megger testers, together with our electronic labeller PT7600VP, provide electricians with an effective and robust kit.”
Winners of the scheme included electricians from Lancashire, Cheshire and Kent.
Recently, the printer firm was awarded The Queen's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, following its commitment to reducing waste and conserving energy.
Furthermore, Brother said that it started its first sustainability initiatives in 1994, and since then the concept has spread through its business and its community and charity work.
