Ink Cartridges Maker Brother Celebrates Ethical Success

If you buy Brother ink cartridges you really will be helping to do your bit to help the environment, animal welfare and human rights, as the firm has been recognised for its ethical policies for the fifth year running.

The toner cartridges firm received a 100 out of 100 rating for its environmental credentials by The Ethical Company Organisation in its Good Shopping Guide.

Comparing hundreds of companies' ethical and corporate social responsibility records, the guide accords in relation to up to 15 different ethical criteria under the general headings of environment, animals and people.

Brother said its success is proof that its impact on the environment remains a top priority. The company is now accredited as an 'Ethical Company'.

Recently, Brother announced the success of its ink cartridges recycling scheme, through which it says a tree in the Peruvian Amazon is protected for every eight donated.

Brother's headquarters in Manchester has also recently achieved zero landfill status.
