Brother Printers Win Seven Product Design Awards
Seven of toner cartridges maker Brother's printers have scooped international design awards.
Products including Brother's A4 Colour Laser All-in-One Printer were awarded with the iF Product Design Award, judged by the iF-International Forum Design Hannover, in Germany.
The awards began in 1953, selecting the best product designs from all over the world. The products that win receive a global repute, Brother said.
Three basic design concepts - clean, elegant and intelligent - were used to judge the range of printers.
The ink cartridges firm has received 27 iF awards in total and this is the fourth consecutive year it has been named a winner.
"This design approach established quality products and it is a great honour that such products were highly recognised by global experts and received the internationally renowned award," Brother said.
Recently, two Brother printers were used in the Johnny Depp film The Tourist. Paul Bettany's character John Acheson can be seen printing out documents in one scene.
