Dell 810 All-in-One. Load of rubbish. Cartridges horrendously expensive.
Dell 810 good performance but why such high Dell original ink cartridge costs ?
When purchasing my Dell Computer I asked about an affordable printer and the 810 was recommended to me. It sounded reasonable as is all-in-one printer/scanner/copier. I asked if it could scan A3 as I work in the arts. I was blatantly lied to and told it couldn�t scan A3 but could print A3. On receiving the Dell 810, I was disappointed to learn it does NOT print A3, the colours are horrendous; printing dark green instead of black, the ink cartridge prices are extortionate and have a built-in chip that does not allow you to recycle the cartridge and have it refilled. Do not buy! Rubbish indeed!
I have no complaints about the general performance of this printer, and certainly the built in scanner is really useful, but OMG this printer can really get through the ink and Dell cartridges are SO EXPENSIVE! Within a few days of putting in a brand new cartridge it's already telling me that the cartridge is low! Not an economical printer at all.
