Lexmark X1150. An all in one with a very cheap price. Under £50. It works well. Until you try to buy inks- when you are frequently asked to pay one third more than the purchase price for the two inks. Even on refilling at one of the cartridge places it works out at about £30 for a couple and they only work for several refills then you are forced to buy another set of originals. This painful experience more than overshadows the good points. It’s fast and easy to set up. It’s quiet. It scans well. It is versatile- you can move things around, crop them, flip them. It copies quite well too. Would I recommend Lexmark ? No never again. Lexmark- you have had your fill of me until your cup runneth over. That’s why I switched to Epson, where for the same money, I have achieved not only good results- better results in fact, but Epson are far, far cheaper to run. 3/10
My printer is Lexmark X1150 its ok but I rarely use it in colour mode owing to the high cost of the cartridges I am by no means an IT expert so would welcome your suggestion as to a printer/scanner that is easier to understand K Clark
