Canon MP530. I have used 3 Canon multifunction printers for about 7 years. The last one, an MP760, was fine until the Waste Ink device became full. This is not something that can be repaired (" emptied") by anyone but a skilled technician as its a felt pad buried in the bowels of the machine. I have always had good results especially for photos and wanted the flexibility of individual cartridges for each colour so I bought a Canon MP530. I am really annnoyed by the introduction of the chipped cartridges that are on this version. So is everyone else! I have so far not had much luck in moving the chips onto compatible cartridges- there are varing instructions on the web. I do refill the originals and they last a long time. But I dislike the mess. Canon printers have only limited technical support for home users - A technician based in S Wales covers everything down to Cornwall! The Mp530 is noisier than the MP760 though smaller and smarter to look at. So mixed feelings. By the way does the "Internet - ink" compatible Canon cartridge have a easy click-on system for changing chips that does not need adhesive? May I suggest that you illustrate the cartridge so that this crucial part of it is visible? CGB
