I have a Canon iP5200 printer which produces very sharp prints. However, the prints are on the dark side, and it depends on the type and make of photo paper to obtain natural coloured prints. I found Canon super glossy to be the worst offender, and HP premium plus photo paper glossy, the best for natural colour. In many cases where I have been using glossy photo paper, I have selected "other photo paper" to obtain the best result. Overall, I am pleased with the printer, but I do not feel it should be necessary to resort to Photo shop most times to adjust the brightness.
Quality OK but appears to use a lot of ink on self-test before printing. If you print in black only it is possible to empty colour cartridges on tests alone
