My printer is a Brother DCP-115C. It is an all-in-one and is admirably adapted to my purposes. It is easy to use, has a large black ink cartridge, and scans very satisfactorily. The first problem I have with it is that it does not recognise when an ink cartridge has been changed and continues to tell me that the ink needs replacing every time I switch it on - which is irritating. Secondly, because the scanner is flat-bed, it only scans a page at a time, with the consequence that I cannot incorporate several pages into a single document, which is a bore. I’d give the Brother DCP115C 8 out of 10.

Brother DCP115C. Bad point is that no indication that the printr is on , ie no visable neon [bad for the enviroment ] Information in hand book poor , no information on scanning at all . This machine was bought on the web, which is a french model , no hand book was supplied and no downloads worked [they had to send me a uk installation book ]. Having a problem with the scanner and doubtful as to what service will be available . Still if you buy the cheapest what can you expect . For my limited use ie straight forward copying its ok , but would not by this model again , and never use it for photo printing

Brother DCP 115C. As a general 3 in 1 it is a good machine,quiet & reasonably quick,but ask it to do a photo and it has a major drawback,because the paper has to be fed from a horizontal tray beneath the printhead, a quality photopaper has the almost impossible task of being routed over a roller before getting to the heads, and such paper is very reluctant to this bending,result, paper-jam & a quantity of ink jetting onto the bed to mark the next sheet through

Very pleased with this printer, simple to use and the same with the scanner . Easy to change ink cartridges. It was reasonable priced when we bought ours. I would score it at about 8 out of 10 Margaret Kimberlee

Brother DCP - 117C This has given great service and quality that suits my needs for general printing and photographs. So good in fact that my son has now purchased one (obviously a newer model) but it also uses the same ink - I wonder who pays? Regarding "Internet-ink", certainly more in the container than the genuine replacements. Colours seem accurate and have not experienced any problems at all - will keep purchasing so please keep the prices low! (Good value) I trust the above assists with your review.

The Brother DCP 115 is a good printer but I find it has bother with heavy 190GSM photo paper. It will not bend around on to the printing surface. However on the lighter paper the quality is quite good.
