My Lexmark X1270 printer seems to be a very good machine but the ink cartridges are very small and seem to wear out with what appears little use and I just cannot understand why they are so expensive to replace. Five out of ten.
I have a Lexmark 1270 Printer is good the price was good but oy o boy what about the price for such a small amount of ink. my other printer is a Epson 830u which I have had for about 6 years now it is good and I have no difficulty in refilling the cartridges albert H Kennington
Dear sir, I use a Lexmark 1270 all in one .I have found it to be a very good machine for the cost,both on ordinary and on Photograph printing. It does seem to use the ink quite quickly but I am hoping that my recent purchase from yourselves will be the cure for this.I would rate the 1270 as follows. Ease of use 9/10 Quality of printing 8/10 Quality of printing for the cost of the machine 10/10 Life of ink cartridges 6/10 J. Hamer
My Lexmark X1270 is a great printer, but the original Lexmark ink cartridges are fiddly to replace and the ink very expensive for the small amount of ink supplied. Ink issues should be resolved.
I�m very pleased with my Lexmark X1270 - easy to use and good results: however, the cartridges are grossly over priced (even compatibles). My Epson 830U is a printer only but the cartridges are just a fraction of the price because they haven�t got a new print head every time you replace them. Having said that my 830 is old now but still produces acceptable results for the money. Come on Lexmark, get those prices down; cartridges only cost pennies to produce - boost your sales by making the printing experience cheap!!
