I have an HP 1210 psc and find it reliable and photo printing is good. Like most printers the ink cartridges are somewhat expensive but shopping around usually means the original can be bought at a much more competitive price. Only original tricolour cartridges should be used as the use of others causes strange results. Black substitute cartridges can be used without any problem. I have had the printer for about three years and had no problems. R J Lilley
Hewlett Packard HP PSC 1210 all in one: Bought in a ’package’ here in Spain with a new computer 4 years ago. I previously owned an Epson printer, and found it great because of the rear paper stacking. On the HP the paper goes in the front, turns round and comes out the front. Almost since it was new this has proved very temperamental; sometimes it will only take one sheet at a time, other times it’s three or four, but regularly gets snagged inside and I have to remove the back plate to pull the crumpled paper out. The rest of the printer is good, and the scanner is good too, but I do prefer the straight, rear stacking system of Epson. I hope this is of use to you. Yours sincerely, Kathy Purser.
