Canon Lasers printers and printing requirements
Canon have long been known as innovators in the development of laser printing technology and is one of the main reasons they have been able to dominate this area for so long.
They were not without criticism for their first attempts at producing Canon laser printer, but with the release of their BJC-8200 all criticism was put to rest. Canon has built a reputation as one of the leading manufactories, developers and producers of Canon laser printer worldwide.
Today Canon has advanced the technology of their Canon laser printer to such an extent that they stand above much of their competition based purely on the quality and competitive pricing of their Canon laser printer, and they continue to impress with their BJC series Canon laser printer which offer huge advancements in the technology of laser printing, especially with regard to speed and printing quality.
Over the years Canon has aligned their Canon laser printer in order to keep up with advanced specifications yet they have managed to keep their Canon laser printer streamlined and sleek. A Canon laser printer is loved not only for their appealing design but also for the advanced technology that hides inside.
Canon is considered one of the top priority brands in the world of printing and they hold over 1,000 patents in the area of Canon toner cartridges. Canon laser printer offer a unique design which separates ink tanks inside their single Canon laser cartridges which don’t rely on computer chips that will disable your computer not do they employ expensive built in print heads that have to replace along with the cartridge. Canon laser cartridges are simple and easy to use and cost effective.
A review of Canon toner cartridges and Canon laser toner
Canon toner cartridges play a big role in the maintenance of their printers and contain features that add value. Canon started producing Canon toner cartridges in order to retain their share in the market and remain one of the leading producers of not only Canon toner cartridges but also Canon laser toner and other printer accessories.
Canon laser toner consists of a powder that feeds the printer directly from a cartridge. Each separate Canon laser toner can easily be removed and replaced when empty. Canon laser toner cartridges come in Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. When one Canon laser toner is empty it is still possible to print using the remaining colours contained in Canon toner cartridges. With Canon toner cartridges you use less and as each Canon laser toner can be recycled this helps not only with costs but it also with the world’s current landfill problems.
Canon is known for the tendency to take extra care in the manufacture of their Canon laser cartridges and laser toner which have been designed to supply consistent good print quality. Canon toner cartridges were once considered more expensive than inkjet cartridges due in part to the four Canon laser toner compartments, and were only really affordable to companies who had huge printing volumes. Today that has changed and Canon laser toner has become so cost effective that most people can produce high quality printing with Canon toner cartridges. Although the initial outlay may appear costly on Canon toner cartridge, remember that they are capable of producing approximately 4,000 pages with 5% coverage.

Technology review website PC Advisor have reviewed the new Canon i-SENSYS LBP-7010C laser printer, giving it 3.5/5 stars offering "surprisingly strong image quality for those prepared to wait, and pay."
"The Canon i-SENSYS LBP-7010C printer is very much a no-frills model to look at" states the review website. With no text display and only two buttons. However, the review goes on to say that the printer offers strong capabilities exactly where they’re needed. Print quality is impressive, and the price tag is low for a laser printer.
While the printer itself has a compact footprint, the paper tray of the Canon printer has to be slotted into the front, increasing its footprint on your desk.

The firms' first steps will be to develop a print solution integrating EFI's Fiery-based imagePass and colourPass controllers into Canon's imageRunner advanced range of devices.
This will then allow consumers to use EFI's mobile print technology to produce documents on the imageRunner machines directly from their iPads, iPhones and iPod touch products.
Sam Yoshida, vice president and general manager at Canon, said: "The combination of Canon’s imageRunner advance technology with EFI’s direct mobile print solution creates an easy, intuitive way for Apple device users to automatically discover a Fiery-based printer on their Wi-Fi network and print with the touch of one button.”
Recently, Laserfiche launched its iPhone app which allows people to easily upload pictures and photos onto printer ink devices.
The new technology also lets consumers copy, move, rename, print, email and delete documents from the palm of their hands.

Canon has confirmed that the construction of a toner cartridges plant in Japan will get underway next year. The firm will invest approximately 80 million yen (£228 million) to develop Hita Canon Materials, a producer of toner cartridges and parts in Tokyo in June next year, with production expected to begin in May 2021.
The plant was originally announced in late 2008 but stalled because of the impact of the global financial crisis on demand for toner cartridges. However, after a "careful ongoing review of market and economic conditions", Canon believed the laser printer market is heading toward recovery which should drive growth for cartridges. Some 350 jobs will be created by the new plant.
Recently, Canon announced a promotion in which customers can get cashback when they buy one of the firm's PIXMA printers.

Canon has launched a recycling campaign to recycle toner cartridges, it has been stated.
Recycling bins for used ink cartridges will be set up across various sites in Metro Manila, in the Philippines, according to inquirer.net. The scheme forms part of Canon GreenNation, an environmental awareness programme that raises knowledge of disposal of ink and toner cartridges.
GreenNation sees recycling bins placed in convenient locations for users to deposit their cartridges for recycling, the news provider said. Canon hopes the campaign will spur printer users to think carefully about ink cartridge disposal and in doing so help them to support environmental issues, the news source said.
It is estimated that correct disposal of ink cartridges will reduce landfill by around 86 per cent. This is because individual parts – metals, plastics, etc – can be separated.

The Canon i-Sensys MF4380dn could be an ideal replacement product for those looking to replace their existing printer with one that does not waste printer ink.
According to PC Advisor, which has reviewed the machine, it is "a reasonably light and compact all-in-one mono laser printer" that is not only ideal for small and medium-sized businesses, but home users too. Despite its rather pricy sale price, the Canon i-Sensys MF4380dn has low running costs, according to the magazine, which stated "it offers above-average performance, but skimps on the features front".
There are just three large backlit buttons meant for controlling copy, fax and scan functions, as well as fax settings and copy settings, and a small LCD menu is located in the middle. It makes up for its few features by coming equipped with network support and auto-duplexer and would be suited for those who are pressed for space because "it is quite 'slim' for a laser printer, with a height of 36cm".
The Canon Selphy CP790 printer is also good for home photos.
