My HP Photosmart D7160 is fairly cheap to run, 100% reliable, no paper jamming. Excellent prints. Prior to buying this printer I always bought Epson but they are not in the same league within this price bracket. Also whilst Epson pull stunts by making your printer unusable unless you get it serviced, I really hope Epson lose their market share, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask. Sean.
Hi I have a HP photosmart D7160 very good printer fast when printing photos with great results. Because there are 6 colour ink cartridges this can be a problem if 1 colour runs out. I would recommend this printer without hesitation. Faults - prints slow if you are not using genuine HP photo paper, and the paper sticks together. The compatible HP ink cartridges from internet-ink are great value for money and I would not get them from any where else, have recommended you to friends at work as well as my son who has ordered from you, he also has the same printer. regards Carole Hodgkinson
I have an HP photosmart D7160 and have found it even better than the old laser I used to use! It is very cheap to run, produces excellent quality photos and everyday printing, and I think it is fantastic value for money. I’ve used it every day for nearly a year and have only replaced the HP ink cartridges twice (just)!
We have just bought a HP D7160 photo smart printer, the quality of the pictures are Lab quality, it takes seconds to print out 6x4 inch colour picture and about 4 mins to print out an A4 size colour picture but it’s worth the wait as the quality is amazing. You don’t need a computer you can crop, red eye reduction, lighten and many more options on the printers photo wizard, it gives you many size options, borders or not and has a dedicated 6x4 inch paper tray and it’s easy to use.
Apart from an occasional reluctance to feed 7x5 glossy stock, the printer is trouble free. The cause seems to be glazing of the feed rollers and wiping them over, through the rear access panel, stops the rot. Photos are remarkably well reproduced. a 9 out of 10 product!
