Hello, As requested a brief review of the above printer: I have recently purchased this printer and in most respects it is performing satisfactorily. Problems so far are that package contained two manuals in eight languages, none of them English! Tried to have an English copy posted via HP website, but no such facility is on offer, although there must be a warehouse full of them somewhere! What was on offer was an electronic download and I availed myself of that, - which lead to the second problem! I wished to print out the manual and so set up the printer to print all odd pages, then to print even pages. Both of these it failed to do, - in one instance it printed even number pages consecutively on both sides of the sheets, 2 & 4; 4 & 6; etc. It has been my experience that all the previous HP printers I have owned had the same or similar problems. My IT son says that has also been his experience. I don’t know why they bother! I hope this may be of assistance. Sincerely, Badger Gaunt
My HP Photosmart C4280 all works fine unless you want to use other programs to scan into. On installing the machine I found it had deleted my original photo editing software, I re installed it and found that it could not access the scanner although the printer worked. HP seem to take over your PC and insists on making choices in its own favour (Of course). Tech help suggested wiping all but HP photo editing out and using Photosmart only. They denied that their software was in any way to blame. Wouldnt buy another HP Product at gunpoint.
User friendly, easy on the eye and easy to operate. Fast and lovely clear printing. Software really good - I would give this 8 out of 10. - Tracey
