I have an HP Photosmart C4180 All-in-One Printer I can’t fault it the cartridge last a long time and the print quality is very good - I have always had HP and they have never let me down I wouldn’t buy any other make.

HP Photosmart C4180 . Much better than my old Deskjet 930C, much quicker and better quality colour prints, shame the HP original ink doesn’t last so long and costs so much.
My printer is HP photosmart C4180 All-in-one. I have been pleased with it’s performance.It’s simple to use as I’m fairly new to computing . My main problem is that the printer won’t recognise the refilled ink cartridges so I have no way of telling when they are running low-------- I have the same difficulty when trying to get this information on the computer. Is there any way you can help? Thanks
I have a HP C4180 Printer Impressed with every facility except one. I can find no programme to print an address on a C5 envelope. The size is not catered for and the development of a ’custom’ size does not work.

I have two printers, a Epson stylus CX 6400 and a newer HP Photosmart C4180 All-in-one. I have had the former for a number of years. It has given excellent service. Unfortunately it suddenly decided to in print black only. Now it has stopped printing all together. This is sad as it is/was a fine machine with many potential uses. I bought the HP after efforts to revive the Epson. It was competitively well priced and I am well pleased with it so far. The colour photographic prints from my digital camera are excellent, find ink cartridge usage very economical. However I have not learned to use all the facilities of the machine as I find it less easy to use over the Epson.
hi there well i find the hp printer c4180 very good all round ,its very good quality for photos, scanner and coper are also good . the only thing i find is that the hp ink cartridges are expensive. marks out of 10:-10 regards mike.y
I have operated a HP Photosmart C4180 printer for about 2 years and find it very versatile. I would give it 10/10 and then some. The only drawback is the cost of the ink cartridges, O T T, in my opinion. Vincent Thompson
HP Photosmart C4180 Seems to be quick and good quality. Has been very reliable and does everything it says on the box. However, the software package is huge and intrusive and without manners, automatically muscling in when it is not wanted, for example it detects photographs regardless of the application.
Dear Sirs, I purchased a HP C4180 "All-in-One" Photosmart Printer last summer and have been delighted with its performance. It’s operation is very staightforward and I particularly like the special plug-in attachment for printing photos. Having used several different printers from various manufacturers over many years I would say the C4180 is way ahead in terms of print quality, scanning facilities and basic copying. It is well designed and very compact. D.Jarman
I bought my HP Photosmart C4180 in August last year 2007. Apart from the high cost of inks I find the Printer very good. Its the first printer that I have had which only manages to take one sheet of Paper through at a time. Others have taken two three some times four sheets through at a time. All in all I find the H/P Photosmart a very good and quite printer. Plus the photograph printing is also very good. One snag I find it difficult to see which buttons to press. (I find it a bit awkward to sit up and see the operating ’Buttons’ being chair bound) other wise 10 /10 Mr Taylor.
I have a HP Photosmart C4180 All in one & have never had any problems except if you choose to buy this printer you will find the inks cheaper at "internet-ink.co.uk" that is my recommendation.
This is my 4th printer but my 1st Hp c4180, I can not fault this machine as it produces good clean images and copies ,however I have to agree that the costs for the replacement inks are a little over the top, I can but refill ink which is made for use with this machine for 59p incl vat at a local cash and carry, perhaps if the inks were cheaper people would by a lot more JBB Glasgow
The printer I use is a Hewlett Packard Photosmart C4180. I find it very good. Printing, Photocopying and Photgraph processing all give excellent results. Good value for money.
I’m very pleased with my HP Photosmart C4180. Good quality printing. Shame the software is overcomplicated and intrusive. Cartridges will soon be more expensive than the printer was...Wonder if all printers are the same. Last 3 printers have been HP because there is always no problem installing them.
Excellent value for money. Does everything I need. Only problem is that I print quite a lot and have found that I have been going through cartridges like there’s no tomorrow. Hence why I am now looking at larges capacity ink cartridges! 9/10
