For my purposes only HP will do. They are consistently more reliable, do not require constant head cleaning and the cartridges therefore last much longer. Also you can leave them 3 months and they work perfectly first time. HP Photosmart C3180 Excellent all-in-one with card reader HP Photosmart 8150 Very good quality photos and using the card reader provides edge-to-edge printing. HP Photosmart 420 Good quality but without black cartridge does not have the impact of photos produced using the Photosmart 8150
HP Photosmart C1380 is a quiet printer, photocopier as well. reasonable price black and white print clear but not as black black sometimes a charcoal colour expensive cartridges, hp cartridges are small mls, print qualtiy not as sharp as my previous much cheaper cannon coloured print isn’t very heavy or vibrant.
Hi I have an HP Photosmart c3180 printer and i think its the best thing since sliced bread. It prints so fast in "economy mode" you have to catch the paper on is way out has builtin card reader and the scanner/copier is realy first class and the cartridges seem last forever Jim
An amazing piece of kit for under £50. We bought it with our computer 2 years ago and it has worked perfectly with no problems except envelopes which it does not like, and sometimes get stuck, needing an extra push to get them printed. This does not matter much to me but it could be a nuisance if someone had to print several envelopes a day.
Print quality and colours are excellent. I hope they continue.
