Your Reviews For The RX585 Printer So Far I find that the Epson RX585 I own is louder than the one below in the range, but it makes up for it in printing like an office printer, the speed is like I’ve never seen before. My last printer (HP) was slower and the printer ink cartridges were more expensive, but I found that the compatible inks seem to work out well, less money and more ink. The screen on the RX585 is somewhat higher quality and more vibrant than the rest of the Epson RX range which is one of those things which pushed me over the edge when deciding which one to buy. Bought this after having nothing but trouble with a Kodak printer. Only had it 2 weeks but photo quality is great, speed good and runs quietly!! Only slight disadvantage cant seem to get it to print text (where in colour and black and white) in black only – but this could just be me. 9/10. Lost a mark for noisy setup. Otherwise very good value for money - particularly when using your cartridges! I have had my new printer barely a month, and although I am still on something of a learning curve, I find it excellent. It tends to vibrate a bit, but that is no problem, and it is fascinatingly sophisticated, which simply means that one must consult the Basic Operation Guide from time to time. Learning to work it properly is compelling. Definitely to be classed at 9+ out of 10.
