I use and Epson RX425, but do not like it all that much. The print heads block regularly and use up a lot of ink for the cleaning process - almost half a cartridge (of each colour) on the last attempt. It is very hard on ink usage and expensive to run for this reason - the cartridges do not last long and are expensive to buy (£10 each colour from PC World). The print quality is generally good and the stand alone copying facility is the main reason I keep it. Printing is a bit slow, especially photos. Envelopes and photos are OK so long as the print heads are clean. Although it has slots for memory cards it does not accept the one from my Fuji camera! If there is an OCR function I have yet to find it. Score 5/10
Epson Stylus PHOTO RX425 Almost two years old. Medium to light usage. No problems, very happy with it. Rating 8/10
I have had an Epson PHOTO RX425 for quite a while now and been satisfied with it’s reliable performance. I have had Olivetti,Cannon and Lexmark printers before and been dissappointed with their lasting endurance. It always seems wrong that you can buy a new printer practically for the cost of refills...
Printer Epson stylus photo RX425 Superb colour prints and photos, downside is runs out of ink fast, could be quicker. Other than that no problems whatsoever.
My Epson Rx425 printer for scanning, printing and copying sections work well and on demand. The colour reproduction is not that good sometimes when compared with the original being scanned/copied. Ink cartridge replacement is easy. It is rather bulky and takes up a lot of space compared with more modern units. Has never failed to operate.
Epson Stylus Photo RX425: Worked well for about 20 months, and then after a series of warnings that I need to contact support at Epson, it stopped working. The support desk told me that after a certain time, the waste ink capture facility becomes full, and the printer could either be returned for refurbishment at a cost of £68. Alternatively they would send me a reconditioned model for £49, or I should buy a new printer. Because I had a stock of ink cartridges – from Internet-ink – I elected to take the reconditioned model. When it arrived it didn’t work, and I had to take it to the nearest Epson service centre – thankfully only about ½ hour drive away. It took so long for them to effect the repair – I run a charity and was without a printer for 10 days – that I vowed never to buy another Epson.
Epson Stylus Photo RX425 Very easy to operate. All functions work extremely well. The quality of printing is excellent. This is the first trouble free printer I have had. Excellent.
Dear Sir’s I own a Epson Stylus PHOTO RX425 this been my second Epson printer. Would I purchase Epson again NO I would not. They are too slow on normal print and even slower on scan. The quality on scan is very poor and the start up is very slow. You cannot clean individual cartridges hence the inordinate amount of ink you have to use for all colures just to clean a particular cartridge that is causing a problem. The service from Internet-ink has been excellent, when I have had a problem with cartridge that have been supply empty. I am cleaning the heads on my printer with the recent purchase of one off your cleaning kits. Will I continue to use Internet-Ink, YES Regards
I have an Epson stylus RX425 printer. It is OK if somewhat slow. I find your ink very good for the price although the green does not come out too well sometimes. All in all I am quite pleased with it. I P C
We have an Epson RX425. An excellent little machine at about £115 but if it hadn’t been for your very realistically priced inks we would now be bankrupt! Also, what a shame the cartridges cannot be recycled.
I use two printers: Epson RX425 I have used your compatible inks for a long time. Excellent price and generally good, say 8 out of 10. Dell colour laser printer 1320c. You do not yet appear to offer toner cartridges for this model. Hope you will soon. Dr Arthur Jones
I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX425 which I’m happy with and it does what I need it to do. I’ve used your service for a while now and have been very happy with the quality of the ink and the standard of service. The order always arrives very quickly which is great because I sometimes forget to order until I find that I don’t have the spare cartridges waiting!! The bundle offers are good value too.
Hi I think this is the best. My Epson RX425 printer I have had over the past twenty years. The only thing I have against it, is if you make a mistake in putting in your instructions it will not stop, and some times goes on printing about twenty to thirty pages of rubbish, there is no way to stop it. Maybe you can tell me if there is away to cancel, or if not a modification could be added to your future models that stops the printer. Happy Christmas Garvin Pollock
I have had the Epson photo RX425 for a few years now. It does use a lot of ink which I buy in bulk from Abitech at a very good price. When the warning came up on my machine to have it checked out at the epson support centre, I ignored it. Eventually when it stopped working I rang my local small independant computer shop. The ink capture facility was full. They had it for half a day and charged me £10 to put it right, as opposed to approximately £68 at an Epson service centre. It has been working for 6 months now on light usage and if the same problem occurs I will take it to them again to see if they can perfom a cheap miracle for a second time! This has given me time to assess other printers for possible purchase when this one packs in completely.

I use an Epson stylus photo 425. It is very good and excellent results with your inks. Only reservation I have is that it seems to require cleaning more frequently than previous models when it is on for a long time, I have include a clearer in my present order. R D McIntyre
Printer Epson RX425 Good and Reliable but ink cartridges far too small. Scanning slow and printing could be faster.
I have no problems with the quality of printed articles from this machine - my main complaint is that the inks tend to dry on the head when not used for a day or two. This means cleaning all the heads and a dramatic drop in the levels of all the inks as it is not possible to clean each head individually. This makes the machine expensive to run!
