The Epson Stylus Photo 790 is capable of good results but as the ink jets are nearly always blocked I am almost ready to give up on it. The cleaning cartridge supplied by yourselves cleaned the jets first attempt but they clogged again about 5 days later. Because of its persistent jet clogging problems I cannot recommend this printer.
I have had my Epsom 790 since it was first introduced and I have had no problems with it at all. Yes, it has needed cleaning occasionally but I use quality (compatible) inks from Abitech and ALWAYS on Epsom papers. I believe that it is because of this that I always get excellent results. I have never had problems with either of my Epsom printers - I also have an EPL-6100L Laserjet printer for the bulk of my B&W work. I have never used anything other than an Epsom and would recommend Epsom because of their fantastic quality.
