I have an Epson 880 and a DX6000 very pleased with their performance and find compatible ink works very well in them.I would definatly buy another Epson. L Purcell |
I use Epson DX 6000 copier/printer.For my use it has been excellent-for copying-scanning and printing from computer.
I use internet-ink compatible cartridges with no problems-good quality and super fast delivery of orders.

My Epson Stylus DX 6000 has been a fault free printer which I’ve used for the last two years. Compatible inks are much cheaper than the originals and they have always worked well in this printer. This printer scans, copies and prints faultlessly and the quality of the photos are often commented on for their clarity. I would have no hesitation in recommending this printer to anyone. WTRICHY |
My Epson DX6000 printer is mostly good. Occasionally has communication problems with the PC after new ink cartridges are installed. There is a sensor which detects if the paper is not loaded exactly straight, which stops the ink carriage traveling right over to the sides of the printable area. This has been annoying sometimes when the paper was only very marginally off-line and the consequent limited print is not noticed until after the job is completed.

I am really impressed with my epson DX6000, but I do struggle with compatible inks. I have not tried the ones from you yet as I always like to ave some spare. I am only a novice on computer and also like that I can just copy or print without computer if I want to but yes I like it. |
Excellent printer, but discovered that if you have purchased the dx6000 recently then epson have attempted to make compatible ink cartridges, incompatible. Obviously epson want to sell their own ink cartridges, but with less ink in the original epson cartridge, and the price almost double than the compatibles , this makes this machine very expensive to run. However there is compatibles with a chip which some retailers assure users will work on the dx6000. IF YOUR BRAVE ENOUGH TO TRY IT ON YOUR NEW MACHINE. I would be interested to hear from anyone who have used these compatibles , and how their machine performed . Thanks...REG.
FROM THE EDITOR :- Our compatible Epson dx6000 ink cartridges are tried and tested by many customers - no problems reported |

I bought this printer scanner about two months and it is the best one that I used as this my third Epson now and I prefer this one best of all. It is a Epson DX6000 and I would give it ten out of ten. |
Dear Sir or Madam, REVIEW OF DX6000- SCORE 3 out 10 I have owned a Epson DX6000 which I use for business use since November 2006 when it first came available in Ireland. The other office A4 printers we use are the Epson CX3200 & CX5200. As far as we are concerned the DX6000 is a cheaply made machine that regularly suffers from ink flow problems, and eats ink. We do find the quality brilliant and only use it for photos. The lack of a percentage zooming facility and graduating the darkness of prints is a real backward step. I have tried using compatible inks through one of your competitors but even though they say they guarantee ink quality the same as the DuraBrite Ultra, we find they do not work in the Epson DX6000 whilst compatibles are perfect in the CX range. I have just placed an order today for 4No DX6000 ink set to try out your claim that the ink in your cartridges will work, and time will see if your product is superior to the other supplier. We also run EnCAD wide format printers A1 & A0, and I have placed my first order with you for HP 51625A & 40A compatible cartridges (we usually always use originals) to see if black and especially the tri-colour are of good quality and up to the high standard we demand for colour plotting of AutoCAD drawings. We do hope they are satisfactory as we run our machines over night and get though a high turn over of ink which has been costing us €40 to €45 per cartridge. Best Regards Brian K Davies MCIAT |
My Epson Dx6000 is excellent, hopefully the ink cartridges i hope to receive off you are of the same quality as this is my first order thanking you K T.

My Epson DX6000 is an excellent bit of kit: simple to use even for someone like me who just wants to get on with the job without understanding how the machinery does what it does! The print results are very good and so far (after 6 months ownership and use) it seems reliable. For the price, it must be virtually unbeatable. A worthy 10 out of 10.

The Epson Dx6000 printer is great I am really pleased with the performance but the price of the inks are to expensive? |
Had this Epson DX6000 machine for almost a year now. Good Quality Printer/Copier/Scanner and fairly easy to use. Comes with a set of 4 ink cartridges which don’t last long as I’m told they are only half full when supplied! Also no USB lead supplied. Epsons own cartridges are expensive, compatibles seem to work just as well and last longer. I hope the printer isn’t programmed to throw a wobbler if you persist in using compatibles! Hope you find this useful. Steve. |
The Epson DX6000 is neat, works well, I’ve managed to understand the instructions, the cartridges are easy to change, and the paper only has to go round a 90 degree turn. But - among other things I print around 270 envelopes each quarter and I could load my old HP693 with 20 envelopes at a time, this one only takes 10. I think the ink consumption is high - in normal mode it takes one black cartridge to print one set of envelopes but the draft mode is barely readable. I could use draft mode with the old HP and the cartridges seemed to go on for ever, original or compatible. |
I use a EPSON DX6000 and have found it to be a good printer both for normal prints, photos and scanning of both, marks out of ten : ten out of ten. - I would add that the printer is capable of identifying some companies ink cartridges as not being Epson but not yours.

I have had my DX6000 for over a year and it is Brilliant. High cost Epson original carts are expensive ,but I use Internet Ink, much cheaper.

I had a dell 3 in 1 printer, two ink cartridges , for several years but last year I decided to upgrade a little as I like to print of photos so I was advised to get Epson style dx6000
With 4 inks,I used real Epson inks and photo paper, but found that the pictures weren't that good, read through the hand book several times to try and improve quality but it didn't any better, used compatible inks, things seemed better, but still not happy with the quality with colour prints after a few prints they smear so I have gone back to my old Dell printer.

Good photo quality and brilliant as a stand alone for copying documents. Also scanner is good as I can still save documents on computer and print from any printer if my ink runs out. I find that the inks from the ink company print good pictures but why do they seem to have a lot of in left in them but come up as empty on printer. I recommend direct printing from camera card to printer for even better quality photos. 8/10 - Angela |
My Review : Excellent quality & ink seems to last forever !! Highly recommended......Paul Knock
