My printer is and Epson Stylus DX4200. So far I have never had a problem with this printer. I make cards and sometimes I have trouble getting the printer to accept thick card but apart from that, I like my printer. Reliable enough for routine B&W printing. Color reproduction not good from photos - banding and lack of subtle colour grading and definition. After 18 months paper feed is inaccurate with small numbers of sheets in the feeder (up to 20 say) with print skewed on page. Would not replace with same. Old Hewlett Packard much better. - 5/10

This is a useful printer/copier. This is however rather slow in printing, especially from the PC. I have windows XP. The time is for spooling, I think, but it takes 2-3 minutes to start printing. The printer is supposed to extend input copies up to A4 if smaller, but does not do it very often. It does print quite well on photo paper, which you tell it you are using. I have had it for 2 1/2 years, with little real trouble, with the help of the operation guide! You change the 4 cartridges one at a time if needed.
