Your Reviews So Far
I have a Epson cx6400 which is rather bulky but i have not had a lot of trouble with it,The only fault I find is Photo’s seem to have far too much red in them when printed.
My printer is a EPSON STYLUS CX6400.I have had it three years and it still gives excellent results. I find your own Epson inks are the best thing I have found on the web. A A Cope
brilliant printer. Very reliable. Have used one for five years and done huge runs of prints including pictures.
Epson’s CX6400 was far and away my greatest disappointment since 1986. To cut a long, sad story short, It never gave satisfaction. Colour prints were hideously wide of the mark when it printed at all. I nevertheless patiently went through the motions of reinstalling the software, cleaning the jets, replacing cartridges and other stuff that voided my warranty, using it with different DTP machines, primarily Macs and finally with my son’s PC. I’m still awaiting a cleaning set for it, ordered on 27/03/08 from your good selves. Recently, after two gremlin-infested Epsons I opted for a Canon iP3500 as a replacement and also bought a Canon iP1800 for another family member. Both are reliable (The printers, that is!) and equal to the not-so-sophisticated tasks we set them. Now that the laser printer is wagging its tail at the consumer market, offering dramatically reduced prices since the first one was delivered to me (by forklift!) in 1986, it looks as though the inkjet printer might soon be no longer a viable proposition for both punters and manufacturers. The cost ratio of a set of ink tanks to printer seems to be rapidly approaching 1:1.
