The Canon iP4000 Printer Has given first class service without a hiccup, Feeds from the top or bottom and also prints on CD/ DVD s.And uses separate compatible ink cartridges. A very good buy when it was first available. slow on starting up and a touch noisy, in operation 8/10, Vic.
Excellent printer,very good in all departments particularly pleased with photo printing. Like the paper slot holds plenty of paper and also able to feed my photo paper from the top no changing over,also has duplex printing which saves paper. Works well with your compatible ink cartridges which I have been using from internet-ink. Haven�t tried any others as these work and prices on a par with others. Would buy same model again. I have a Canon Pixma IP4000 printer. The print quality is excellent, especially �photos. The software provided with the printer is extensive, helpful and largely idiot proof (even I can handle it!). The only downside to the printer is (I think), it is fairly heavy on ink, but when the "ink levels running low" message appears, there is still plenty of print capacity remaining. When eventually the ink cartridges have to be replaced, your compatible cartridges provide excellent quality at a fraction of the price of the Canon "originals" Overall Canon Printer 10/10 .......your ink cartridges 10/10.
