Hello! I would recomment my current printer (or its latest successor) which is a Canon Pixmia 3000. Its speed and print quality are very good. It can print Duplex although I have not tried this. What I really like is its ability to print onto discs, which is tons better than sticking labels on the disks. I hope this is helpful.
I have a Canon Pixma ip3000, and bought this some 3 years ago at a price of about £85. I have previously had Canon Printers. 1st reason I go for Cannon is that all the Inks are separate ( red, blue, yellow & black which is double the size of the colours ) Hence when I run out of a particular colour cartridge I am not replacing other colour cartridges needlessly. 2nd reason Various set ups for the feed trays I E envelopes in the top, plain paper in the bottom. 3rd reason good photo printing with various layouts from the comprehensive set up disc also you can put your camera card straight into the printer. 4th reason its really easy to use. A nice touch is that once set up the printer turns itself on for printing and off when idle My rating for the CANNON PIXMA ip3000 is 10 / 10
Make Of Printer :-Canon Pixma iP3000 Marks Out Of 10 : 10. Very cheap to run, excellent speed and quality of black print. Colour photographs on good paper are almost indistinguishable from professionally produced ones and can be borderless. Very useful software supplied which makes printing a cinch. What a shame it is now out of production!
Model Printer: Canon Pixma iP 3000 Excellent all round printer - good for basic printing - reasonably fast, good on photos, utilities are comprehensive and easy to use. cheap to run - ink cartridges last a reasonable time and with Internet-Ink it is even cheaper Only negative is sometimes document setup is a problem - printer settings conflict with software settings Hope this helps Barry Davis
Well I can only applaud it! I have had my Canon Pixma IP3000 for about three years now and have never had any trouble with it. In fact several of my friends have switched to Canon because their brand of printer caused them problems. I've always had Canon and always will. A great machine. John R. O'Neon
